Tunstall Healthcare provide a door exit alarm which links to alarm units to raise an alert when vulnerable clients in domestic and Formal Care settings are at risk.
PROPERTY EXIT SENSOR (VIRTUAL)
The Virtual Property Exit Sensor combines a
MOVEMENT DETECTOR with a UNIVERSAL SENSOR (pictured above)
to create a solution which can monitor a door or multiple doors any
number of PIRs/universal sensors are fitted. The system generates an alarm if a client leaves their home (during the monitoring period) and
does not return within a set time. A quick code can be used to disable the Virtual PES allowing a carer to leave the property without raising an alarm, and settings can be altered remotely.
MOVEMENT SENSOR
The motion sensor 869 is a Passive infrared (PIR) based sensor
which is designed to detect movement in a room and transmit
a radio signal to a lifeline home unit or other Tunstall telecare
enabled systems. It has been specifically designed for care
applications where it is important to avoid detecting a user who
may be on the floor following a fall (fall zone feature). This means
that movement is not reported and ensures an inactivity alarm can
be generated by the Lifeline home unit or other Tunstall telecare
enabled systems.
UNIVERSAL SENSOR
The NEW Universal Sensor enables wired devices and other third
party equipment to raise wireless alarm calls and appropriate radio
messages to compatible* Tunstall systems.
LCD screen and compact keypad, plus its plug and play capability,
make it easy to configure, and the unit incorporates an RJ11 socket,
3.5mm jack and reed switch which allows a range of peripherals to
be connected. Event notification functionality is interoperable with
other systems such as virtual sensors, supporting activity monitoring,
and the sensor supports both normally open and normally closed
contacts, for flexible configuration.
The Alert-iT range of sensors can be used n situations where there is local informal or formal care provided by care professionals or relatives. Each of the alarms is sent by radio signal to a display pager when activated. There are also methods to connect to other wired or wireless devices from other technology equipment providers so the range of response can be extended to off site or remote monitoring services.
By combining the versatile Sense-iT PIR, Call and Fall badges with its Door Alarm, our Secure-iT range of monitor combinations helps you create a safer, more secure care environment. Offering vulnerable users protection while maintaining their independence, Sense-iT helps lighten the load for those caring with situations including dementia, Alzheimer’s and ADHD.
The Alert-iT Door Monitor alarms as soon as a door has been opened. A signal is then sent to an Alert-iT pager. As a unique feature, the door alarm can be disabled while the carer has access to the room, with the unit automatically re-arming once the door is closed.
The Alert-iT Call Button is designed to be worn on the wrist or around the neck on a quick release lanyard. With an easy-press bright-orange button that illuminates and emits a clear tone when pressed, it reassures the user that help is on its way should they call for assistance.
One-year battery (supplied with spare battery).
The P162 movement sensor detects someone leaving the bed before they become weight bearing and can also be employed to notify carers of users entering unsafe areas.
The P135AB is a wearable device that Alarms an Alert-iT pager if it sensors the user may have fallen. Can be worn around the neck, as a broach or on a belt clip.
One-year battery (supplied with spare battery).
Safer Walking systems consist of dedicated sensors installed on an exit door to detect anyone wearing a bracelet transmitter when they attempt to exit the property. If used in conjunction with other alarm systems and GPS technology devices it helps to maintain secure environment for vulnerable dementia sufferers
